Trubion Pharmaceuticals has announced that Wyeth Pharmaceuticals has exercised its option under the terms of its collaboration agreement with Trubion, signed in December 2005, to extend the research period for an additional one-year period to December 2010. Wyeth will pay Trubion an additional $3.3 million to exercise the option.
